How to report an infringement
If you believe that material on this website or in the app infringes your copyright or another right, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice". This process applies whether your claim arises under UK law, US law or the law of another country. Include:
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a description of the work or other right that you believe is infringed;
- the exact address (URL) of the material or, for the app, the version and the place where the material appears;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the owner, its agent or the law has not authorised the use;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the right concerned or are authorised to act for its owner (for a notice under US law, made under penalty of perjury);
- your physical or electronic signature.
What we do with a notice
We review each complete notice promptly. If we find that material infringes a right, we remove it or disable access to it. Where we can, we tell the person who supplied the material and consider their reply.
A person who knowingly sends a false notice can be liable for the harm it causes, including under section 512(f) of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
