You are responsible for verifying whether acoustic, optical and steganographic data transmission is permitted in your jurisdiction. We believe the audio frequency band, standard device displays and image attachments are unregulated for private one-to-one transfer in most countries. This is not legal advice.
You are responsible for the content of every message you send. Taftan encrypts by default, but the password and the message content are entirely your choices.
Taftan is proprietary software. The compiled binaries, protocol specification and tooling are not available under any open-source licence. Reverse engineering, redistribution, re-hosting or re-branding the binaries is not permitted without prior written authorisation. Contact us for evaluation, integration or commercial licensing.
